REPUBLIC DAY SPEECH FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS
SPEECH-1
Good morning to all my respected teachers, friends, and fellow students.
Today, we have gathered here to celebrate the 76th Republic Day of our beloved country, India. On this day, 26th January 1950, the Constitution of India came into effect, making India a Republic. It is a day to remember the hard work and sacrifices made by our freedom fighters who fought for the independence and rights of our people.
Our Constitution is the supreme law of India, and it gives every citizen the right to equality, freedom, and justice. As Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the architect of our Constitution, once said, “We are going to enter into a life of contradictions. In politics, we will have equality, and in social and economic life, we will have inequality. How long will this inequality last? If we want to maintain our democracy, we must remove the inequalities.”
Republic Day reminds us of our duties as citizens. It is not only a day of celebration, but also a day to reflect on how we can contribute to the progress of our country. The strength of a nation lies in the unity of its people. As the great leader Mahatma Gandhi said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”
As students, we have the responsibility to work hard and be good citizens. Education is the key to building a better India. Every effort we make today will shape the future of our country. As the famous quote by Swami Vivekananda goes, “Arise, awake, and stop not until the goal is reached.”
Let’s all promise to follow the values of our Constitution – justice, equality, and brotherhood – in our daily lives. Let’s work together to make our country proud.

We are proud to be Indians and we should always respect our national flag and our national anthem. Let's promise to work together to make our country a better place.
